Before you can send cold emails from SalesTarget.ai, you need to connect a sending account. You can connect your own Gmail, Outlook, or custom SMTP account — or use SalesTarget.ai's built-in sending infrastructure.
Option A: Connect Your Own Email Account
Connecting your own email account means emails are sent directly from your personal or company email address — keeping your sender identity consistent and professional.
Connect Gmail
Go to Cold Email Outreach from the left sidebar.
Click Settings → Email Accounts.
Click Add Email Account.
Select Gmail from the list of providers.
Click Connect with Google and sign in to your Google account.
Grant the required permissions when prompted.
Your Gmail account will appear as a connected sender in your account list.
Note: For best results with Gmail, enable 2-Step Verification and use an App Password if your Google Workspace has security restrictions.
Connect Outlook / Microsoft 365
Go to Cold Email Outreach → Settings → Email Accounts.
Click Add Email Account and select Outlook / Microsoft 365.
Click Connect with Microsoft and sign in to your Microsoft account.
Approve the permissions request.
Your Outlook account will be added as a connected sender.
Connect a Custom SMTP Account
Use this option if you have a custom domain email hosted on any provider (e.g., Google Workspace, Zoho Mail, ProtonMail Business, or any other SMTP-supported mail server).
Go to Cold Email Outreach → Settings → Email Accounts.
Click Add Email Account and select Custom SMTP.
Enter the following details from your email provider:
SMTP Host (e.g., smtp.yourdomain.com)
SMTP Port (usually 587 for TLS or 465 for SSL)
Email Address
Password / App Password
Click Test Connection to verify the credentials are correct.
Click Save once the connection is confirmed.
Option B: Use SalesTarget.ai Sending Infrastructure
Go to Cold Email Outreach → Settings → Email Accounts.
Click Use SalesTarget.ai Sending.
Configure your sender name and sender email display settings.
Click Save.
Managing Connected Accounts
Once connected, you can manage all your sending accounts from Settings → Email Accounts:
Set a default sender — the account used when launching new campaigns
Set daily sending limits per account to stay within safe sending thresholds
Disconnect an account at any time
Add multiple accounts for Inbox Rotation across campaigns
