How to Use the AI Content Generator

The AI Content Generator is the second engine in SalesTarget.ai's AI Outreach Suite. While AI Sequences builds your entire campaign structure, the AI Content Generator focuses on writing individual cold emails — producing natural, persuasive copy tailored precisely to your target audience, tone, and conversion goal. Use it when you want to write or rewrite a specific email step rather than generating a full sequence from scratch.

What the AI Content Generator Does

  • Writes individual cold emails — first emails, follow-ups, or final touches

  • Adapts to your audience — the output is shaped around who you're targeting and what matters to them

  • Matches your tone — casual, professional, direct, or consultative

  • Focuses on your goal — whether that's booking a call, getting a reply, or driving a click

  • Improves existing copy — paste in an email you've already written and the AI rewrites or sharpens it

  • Generates subject line variations — multiple options to test against each other

Step 1: Open the AI Content Generator

  1. Go to Cold Email Outreach → Campaigns and open or create a campaign.

  2. In the sequence builder, click on any email step.

  3. In the email editor, click the AI Write button.

  4. Select AI Content Generator from the options.

Step 3: Generate the Email

  1. Click Generate.

  2. The AI Content Generator will produce a subject line and a complete email body — opening, value statement, and CTA.

  3. Review the output. You can use it as-is, regenerate for a fresh version with the same inputs, or refine with a prompt — give the AI a specific instruction to adjust the output.

Step 4: Refine the Output

If the first version isn't quite right, type a refinement instruction and click Refine:

Improving an Existing Email

  1. In the AI Content Generator panel, click Improve Existing Email.

  2. Paste your current email into the input field.

  3. Describe what you want improved — e.g., "Make the subject line more compelling" or "Shorten the body and make the CTA clearer".

  4. Click Improve. The AI will return a revised version of your email.

Generating Subject Line Variations

  1. In the AI Content Generator, click Generate Subject Lines Only.

  2. Describe the email topic and target audience.

  3. The AI will produce 5–10 subject line variations.

  4. Pick your top two and use them in an A/B test on that email step.
