The AI Spintax Generator is the third engine in SalesTarget.ai's AI Outreach Suite. It automatically rewrites your cold emails into multiple unique variations — so that every email sent from your campaign looks different from the last. This protects your deliverability by preventing spam filters from flagging repeated identical content, while keeping your outreach personal and human-sounding at scale.
What is Spintax?
Spintax is a technique where different versions of words, phrases, or sentences are embedded inside a single email template. When the email sends, one variation is randomly selected for each recipient — meaning no two emails are exactly alike, even when sent to thousands of people.
In SalesTarget.ai, the AI generates all the spintax variations for you automatically — you don't have to write them manually.
Why Spintax Matters for Deliverability
Avoids spam filter triggers caused by repeated identical content patterns
Improves inbox placement — emails look hand-written rather than mass-sent
Protects sender reputation when sending at high volume
Increases engagement — slight variation in wording keeps emails feeling fresh and personal
Step 1: Open the AI Spintax Generator
Go to Cold Email Outreach → Campaigns and open or create a campaign.
In the sequence builder, click on any email step.
In the email editor, click the AI Write button.
Select AI Spintax Generator from the options.
You can also access it from an email you've already written by clicking Generate Spintax inside the editor toolbar.
Step 2: Input Your Email
If you already have an email written in the editor, click Apply Spintax to This Email — the AI will use your existing copy as the base.
If you're starting from scratch, paste your email into the Spintax input field.
Click Generate Spintax.
Step 3: Review the Spintax Output
The AI Spintax Generator will return your email rewritten in full spintax format — with multiple alternatives built into every key phrase, sentence opener, and CTA.
Review the spintax to make sure:
All variations sound natural and on-brand
No variation changes your core message or makes the email misleading
Personalization variables like
{{first_name}}and{{company_name}}are correctly placed outside the spintax brackets
Step 4: Adjust the Spintax Intensity
Level | What it does |
Light | Varies only subject lines and opening lines — minimal changes to the body |
Medium | Varies subject lines, openers, key sentences, and CTAs — recommended for most campaigns |
Heavy | Varies nearly every phrase throughout the entire email — maximum uniqueness per send |
Step 5: Preview Generated Variations
Click Preview Variations in the Spintax panel.
SalesTarget.ai will generate 5–10 sample email versions drawn from the spintax pool.
Read through each one — they should all feel natural, coherent, and on-message.
If any combination sounds off, go back and adjust that section of the spintax manually.
Step 6: Apply and Save
Once satisfied with the spintax output, click Apply to Email.
The spintax template will be saved to your email step.
When the campaign sends, each individual email will automatically receive a unique combination of the variations — no two recipients get identical wording.
Best Practices for AI Spintax
Always preview before sending — a quick review of 5–10 sample outputs catches any awkward combinations the AI may have generated
Keep core facts consistent — spintax should vary style and phrasing, never facts, names, or product claims
Use Medium intensity as your default — it provides strong deliverability protection without risking incoherent copy
Combine with personalization variables — spintax handles content variation, personalization variables handle 1-to-1 data — both together create the most natural-feeling emails at scale
Apply spintax to every step — not just the first email. Follow-ups benefit equally from variation
