The Update Campaign Sequence action lets you modify the email sequence steps inside an existing campaign — adding, editing, or adjusting steps through a simple natural language instruction.
What It Does
Locates an existing campaign and updates its email sequence based on your instruction — without needing to open the campaign and navigate the sequence builder manually.
How to Use It
Adding a new step:
"Add a follow-up email on day 5 to my SaaS VPs campaign"
"Add a new step to the April Outreach sequence — a final follow-up on day 14"
Editing an existing step:
"Change the subject line of step 2 in my Q2 campaign to 'Quick question, {{first_name}}'"
"Update the call to action in the first email of my Fintech campaign"
Adjusting delays:
"Change the delay between step 2 and step 3 in my April campaign to 4 days"
The Co-pilot will locate the campaign and apply the requested changes, then confirm what was updated.
What You Can Update
Element | Example instruction |
Add a new step | "Add a follow-up on day 7" |
Edit subject line | "Change the subject line of step 1" |
Edit email body | "Update the body of the second email" |
Change delay | "Set the delay before step 3 to 5 days" |
Change CTA | "Update the call to action in step 2" |
Tip — Be Specific About the Campaign Name
If you have multiple campaigns, always specify the exact campaign name so the Co-pilot updates the right one:
✅ "Update step 2 in my SaaS VPs April 2026 campaign"
❌ "Update step 2 in my campaign" — may be ambiguous if you have multiple campaigns
