How to Manage Deals & Your Sales Pipeline

The Deals tab is your sales pipeline — every opportunity, its stage, its value, and its expected close date.

Create a deal

  1. Open CRM → Deals and click Add Deal.

  2. Fill in the required fields: deal name, the linked lead's email, the Stage, the Member it's assigned to, and the Amount.

  3. Optionally add an Estimated Close Date, plus Pipeline, Deal Type, Priority, Description, Next Step, or a Closed Won/Lost Reason.

  4. Optionally associate Products, Orders, Tickets, Tasks, and Meetings.

Default pipeline stages

Out of the box the pipeline uses eight stages:

Lead → Sales Qualified → Meeting Booked → Negotiation → Contract Sent → Closed Won → Closed Lost → Not Interested

Work the pipeline

The pipeline is organized as columns, one per stage. Drag a deal between columns to update its stage. You can also add a deal directly into a column, and open any card to edit or delete it.

Customize your stages

Use the stage manager to add a stage (with a name and colour), rename or recolour existing stages, drag to reorder, or delete stages you don't use.

Table view

Switch to table view for a sortable list with columns for Deal Name, Email, Created By, Assigned To, Stage, Amount, Close Date, and Create Date. Use Edit Columns to add custom fields.

Stage and owner filters are available in table view. In kanban view, the columns themselves act as the stage filter.

Tips

  • Keep Amount and Close Date current — Pipeline Value and Revenue in Reports pull directly from your deal data.

  • Create deals in bulk from the Leads tab by selecting leads and clicking Create Deal.
