How to Use Follow-ups

Follow-ups are lightweight reminders to re-engage a lead — a simpler, date-driven companion to tasks.

Create a follow-up

  1. Go to CRM → Follow Ups and click Add Follow-up.

  2. Enter the required fields: follow-up name, Follow-up Date, Status, and Priority.

  3. Optionally add a description, follow-up time, the linked lead, an assigned member, a Channel, a follow-up type, a reminder, an outcome, and a Next Step.

You can also add a follow-up directly from a lead's profile.

Track your follow-ups

  • Use the board view to see follow-ups by status; drag between columns to update.

  • Switch to the table view for a sortable list.

  • Default statuses are Pending, Completed, and Cancelled.

A follow-up that stays open past its date is flagged as overdue on the lead's profile, and overdue counts appear in the Activity section of Reports.

Tips

  • Create a follow-up the moment a lead says "not now" — set the date for when they said to check back.

  • Use the Channel field to plan the touch (email, call, LinkedIn) so future-you doesn't have to decide.
