How to Customize the CRM (Stages, Forms & Columns)

The CRM adapts to your process. Three customization tools apply across the modules where they make sense.

1. Customize stages and statuses

Every board's columns are editable. You can:

  • Add a new stage with a name and colour

  • Rename or recolour existing stages

  • Reorder columns by dragging

  • Delete stages you don't use

Deal pipeline stages are the most common thing to customize. Note that for Meetings, the equivalent manager is called Venues.

2. Customize create forms

Each entity's create form has an editor that lets you:

  • Turn optional properties on or off (for example, add Priority or Next Step to deals)

  • Choose which related records (Company, Contacts, Products) can be linked at creation

  • Save to apply the layout for your team, or Reset to restore defaults

Form editing is permission-gated — if you don't have access, the editor will tell you.

3. Customize table columns

In any table view, click Edit Columns to open Choose which columns you see:

  • Keep the core columns visible

  • Add optional custom fields and associations

  • Drag columns to reorder, then click Apply

Your column layout is saved per entity, as is your board-or-table view choice for each tab.

Tips

  • Mirror your real sales process in your deal stages before importing leads — clean stage history is easier than renaming after the fact.

  • Keep create forms minimal; every extra field slows down data entry.
